A model-turned-actress who is more than just a (very) pretty face, Diora Baird began her screen career in 2004 with a minor guest spot on the long-running ABC sitcom "The Drew Carey Show." She then had her first brush with the world of cinema, appearing briefly in the 2005 hit sex comedy "Wedding Crashers." In 2006, Baird received a major film role, co-starring in the gory horror prequel "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning." Two years later, Baird was back with another starring role, this time in the outlandishly violent crime flick "South of Heaven." 2008 also found the actress taking a supporting part in the lighthearted romantic comedy "My Best Friend's Girl," which starred Kate Hudson, Jason Biggs and comedian Dane Cook. Baird primarily did guest work on television during the late 2000s, and in 2009, she also made time to play the female lead in the horror parody "Stan Helsing." As the next decade dawned, Baird began working heavily in film again, acting in the crime drama "Dry Run" and the horror thrillers "Night of the Demons" and "30 Days of Night: Dark Days." Some of the busy actress's other credits from that year include the romantic drama "Quit" and the comedies "Let the Game Begin" and "Love Shack."
