SEMO still hasn't announced a starting pitcher, but sophom*ore righty Gage Wood will get the ball for Arkansas. This will be just the third start of Wood's career.
Below is everything you need to know about the matchup between Arkansas and SEMO, including live updates, starting lineups and how to watch.
Arkansas vs. SEMO live score updates in Fayetteville Regional
Ninth Inning
- FINAL: SEMO 6, Arkansas 3. The Razorbacks’ season ends in stunning fashion, but really, a sputtering offense also felt all-too predictable. It's another postseason disappointment for Dave Van Horn and the Hogs.
Seventh Inning
- SEMO adds an insurance run with an RBI single by Brooks Kettering. Arkansas trails 6-1 heading to the eighth.
- Arkansas goes down 1-2-3 in the top of the seventh. The Hogs are down to their final six outs.
Sixth Inning
- A one-out single from Ben McLaughlin is all for Arkansas in the inning. SEMO leads 5-1, and the Hogs are down to nine outs in their season.
Fifth Inning
- SEMO immediately gets the run back with a leadoff homer from freshman Brooks Kettering. The Redhawks will carry a 5-1 advantage into the sixth.
- Arkansas finally gets on the board and its first hit with a solo home run by Peyton Holt, but the Hogs stranded the bases loaded. Hudson White grounded out to second base to end the inning. SEMO leads 4-1 heading to the bottom half.
Fourth Inning
- Arkansas is in a world of trouble. SEMO strikes for three runs and takes a 4-0 lead into the fifth. Jake Faherty replaced Gage Wood on the mound, but he couldn't quite minimize the damage. The Hogs are coming to bat still searching for their first hit of the day.
Third Inning
- It's still 1-0 SEMO through three innings. Arkansas doesn't have a hit against Collin Wilma, while Gage Wood has settled in after giving up the home run in the first inning.
First Inning
- Ty Stauss gives SEMO a 1-0 lead with a solo home run to left, and the Hogs are in an early hole.
- Arkansas goes three up, and three down in the first. Collin Wilma has the Hogs off balance with his slow, looping curveball. Gage Wood is coming out to the mound to get his day started.
Pregame
- Collin Wilma will be the starting pitcher for SEMO today. He pitched against the Hogs Friday and gave up three runs in three innings.
- Good afternoon from Baum-Walker Stadium. It's a hot one, and Arkansas needs to win two games today to keep its season alive. First up is a rematch against SEMO. Starting lineups are below, with Gage Wood getting the start on the mound. The only changes from last night's lineup is bringing Ryder Helfrick to catch and sliding Hudson White to designated hitter.
